Shopping Heaven In Kuala Lumpur
1. One Utama (better known as OU)

Located in one of the hippiest place to live in KL...this mall has a lot to offer. Packed with International brand and designers such as Calvin Klein, Armani, Tommy Hilfiger, Liz Clairborne, Guess, Esprit, Zara, Mango, Laura Ashley as well as Malaysian very famous fashion labels such as Vincci, Padini, Axzess and British India
Adding to that are up markets cafes and gourmet restaurants offering mouth watering delicacies besides the normal fast food stop such as Mc Donald and Burger King, for you to enjoy after those long shopping marathon. These are even perfect venue for just hanging out with your friends to catch up the latest gossips.
If shopping is just not what you're up to then, there's a gym and movies or bowling alley for you to visit. It's definitely perfect stop for the whole family.
But more than that it's also double as a venue where you could rub shoulders with Malaysian celebrities as Seri Pentas (one of Malaysian broadcasting company HQ) is just next door to the mall. So this is also the place where the celebrities went for shopping or just hanging out.
2. Mid Valley Megamall

The name of Megamall suggested that it is one of the largest mall not only in Malaysia but in Asia as well. With A massive area of 4.2 million sqaure feet and about 430 retailers shops as well as housing 18 screen cinemas, 2 hotels, office blocks and towers and state of the art disco bowling alley.
The ample car park space are always full in the weekends despite the fact that they(the management of MV) keep adding more parking bays so if you don't wanna get caught in the hunt for parking space do avoid visiting the mall during weekends especially.
I definitely love the cinemas and one of the largest book shop i.e MPH in Mid Valley. I could not be bother with the other shops once I got into MPH. :) Owhhh they almost always have interesting features/ indoor decorative in the center court depending on holidays or celebration we're celebrating as Malaysian...and I like that too!!!
3. Suria KLCC

This place is simply grand because it is situated under one of the tallest building in the world. And how cool will that be?
Mostly cater for up-scale shoppaholics - loads and loads of designers boutiques are made available here. Chanel, Escada, Bally, Anya Hindmarch, BCBG, Marc Jacobs, Stuart Wietzman, Cole Haan to name a few. Mix with Malaysian and Asian designers outlets such as Kirana and Aseana.
And again my favorites about this mall is Kinokuniya book shop besides the rows and rows of excellent restaurants to suits my mood and tastebuds.
And this is the place where KL-lite stops for coffee to avoid the after hours traffic rush, dining alfresco and enjoying the view of the green park and man made fountain landscape just next to the tower after a long day at work.

Easily accesible by the PUTRA Light Rapid Train (LRT) and buses if you're not driving. It's right in the middle of city center and should not be miss.
4. Bintang Walk

Fashionistas and geeks shall all meet here in Bintang Walk. Apart from the shopping malls such as Lot 10, Starhill, Sg. Wang, Low Yat and Bukit Bintang Plaza this is also an interesting place to just sit and have a look at what people are wearing.
A mix of upscale fashion and as well as asian pop culture fashion people in this district is not afraid to dress up according to their fashion style.
Starhill Gallery, KL Plaza and Lot 10 are more about classy fashion listing boutiques such as Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo, Gucci, Celine, Tag Heuer,TOUS,Polo Ralph Lauren, Gianni Versace, Hugo Boss and the lists goes on.

While Sg Wang Plaza and Bukit Bintang Plaza are all about asian fashion. Great bargain are available here if you're into this kinda fashion - eclactic mix of Japanese and Korean street fashion...lotsa bright colours and well if you dare to be different than why not?
And perfect for you to get all the asian knick knacks supplies for instance anime, korean & japanese drama and movies (DVD's and VCD's), cute collectible toys and key chains and yeah lotsa hair saloon where you could imitate that hairdo of your favorites anime.
Plaza Imbi and Low Yat Plaza are two must visit malls to buy your latest gadget at a whole lots cheaper prices. You'll be spoilt for choices of laptop and all the geeky stuff here I must warned you!.
5. Ikano Power Center/ The Curve/Damansara Cineleisure

Located in Mutiara Damasara and a next neighbour to One Utama is Ikano Power Center and The Curve. Shop in IKEA for your furniture supply..and around these vicinity almost every other store are huge enough for you to explore. I love brands such as Aussino (for my bedsheets) , Borders (US bookstore) and to tell the truth I haven't explore the place much except for IKEA.

Damansara Cineleisure is the latest addition to blocks and blocks of shopping and entertainment mall in that particular area. And I still haven't got the chance to personally visit 'em. Too bad!!! But I'm sure this is one of the place I will not miss on my next trip home.
And last but not least all this shopping malls are open from 10.00 am til 10.00 pm...so more time for you to shop till you drop...heheheh :)
